Inspired by the finesse and shadow play of engraved tombstones in a labyrinthine cemetery in Buenos Aires, Charon was designed as a sculptural and minimalistic typeface that brings an elegant and ethereal dimension to large titles. Its sharp serifs and high contrasts evoke the engraver’s chisel and the shadows cast on finely beveled epitaphs.

Charon was designed by Matthieu Visentin in 2016.
